Your path from G1 to a full G
G1
Start with your G1
Pass a written knowledge test on road signs and rules. With your G1 you can practise driving with a fully licensed driver beside you. Take our BDE course while you build hours.
G2
Earn your G2
After 8 months with an approved BDE course (12 without), pass the G2 road test to drive on your own. We provide warm-up prep and a car for the exam.
G
Get your full G
After at least 12 months with your G2, pass the G road test — which includes highway driving — to earn your full, unrestricted licence.
